The Easy 3-Step Process to Making Stickers at Home

Stickers are one of the best ways to express yourself. Why? Because you can stick them anywhere! You can attach it to your walls, laptop, helmets, or even your car. But how can you make them yourself? That’s what you’re about to find out. So if you’re interested in it, then keep on reading.

Step #1 – Define it

Let’s start off by defining our stickers! What do I mean by it? Well, think about what sticker you will make and where you’re going to put it. Is it going to be a car sticker or laptop sticker? How big is it going to be?

After answering these questions, you know what type of materials you need. For example, a bumper sticker needs sticker paper that is waterproof, scratchproof, UV-resistant, and strong adhesive.

Step #2 – Design it

Let’s start off by designing the sticker. You can do it in two ways:

First, if you’re confident with your design and illustration skills, you can make it yourself. This is the best way as you’ll have complete creative control of it.

However, if you don’t have the necessary skills, the next best thing is to get someone else to design. Of course, it will cost more, but you’ll still get a great design. All you have to do is make a rough sketch and some similar sticker design. Then just let a freelancer do the rest.

Step #3 – Print it

And now all you need to do is print them. But before you do, here are a few tips:

  • High-Resolution Files. Before you hit print, make sure that the files are in high resolution. This way, you’ll make sure that your stickers aren’t a mess.
  • Pick the Highest Quality Print. And lastly, please make sure that you choose the highest quality print possible. That way, you can be sure the printer will make it look as great as possible.

And that’s how you do it! But what if you don’t have a colored printer? Then you can make your own stickers  with Stickerapp. They will use the best materials available for a reasonable price.
